SANTA FE, N.M. — The Santa Fe Independent Film Festival has announced the awards from last week’s five-day festival.

They are:

Best Short Documentary:” Luchadora,” directed by River Finlay

Best Short Narrative: “Love is Blind,” directed by Dan Hodgson

Best New Mexican True Short: “Little Horse,” by Claudia Van Luchene
Best Documentary Feature: “Babushkas of Chernobyl,” directed by Holly Morris & Anne Bogart
Special Jury Prize Documentary Feature: “Frame by Frame,” directed by Alexandria Bombach and Mo Scarpelli
Special Jury Prize Narrative Feature: “King of New Orleans,” directed by Allen Fredic
Best Narrative Feature: “Mekko,” directed by Sterlin Harjo
Best Santa Fe Student Short: “Music Box,” directed by Amy West
Festival Director’s Choice Award: “Harry & Avis,” directed by Nathan Hollis
Audience Choice Award (Documentary Feature): “Sir Doug and the Genuine Cosmic Groove,” directed by Joe Nick Patoski
