Albuquerque police said a public memorial service for officer Daniel Webster will be Tuesday morning at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Webster died Thursday morning, a little more than a week after he was shot multiple times during a traffic stop near Central and Eubank. The suspect, Davon Lymon, fled after the shooting but was arrested several hours later.
Police said there will be a private viewing for officers and Webster’s family on Monday evening at the Strong-Thorne Mortuary.
The memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Kiva Auditorium. Afterward, Webster’s interment will be at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
