Bosque Trail Closed Between Bridge and Central

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Trail users must follow detour signs during repaving construction work.


The repaving work is part of a five-phase project to rehabilitate a 10-mile section of trail between Bridge and the Alameda Open space end of the trail.


Each phase will cover a roughly two-mile section of trail, with completion expected by mid-summer, a city spokesman said.


Money for the $1.3 million project came from funds left over from building the Gail Ryba bridge near I-40 that links the Bosque Trail with the West Side, Municipal Development Department spokesman Mark Motsko said.
