Steve Maestas reappointed to Kansas City Fed

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Steve Maestas, CEO of Maestas Development Group in Albuquerque, has been reappointed to a three-year term on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.Steve Maestas

Maestas, who serves as a Class C director representing the public, also was redesignated chairman for 2016, according to a news release from the bank.

Members of the Kansas City Fed’s board represent the 10th Federal Reserve District, which includes Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wyoming, northern New Mexico and western Missouri. The board includes three representatives elected by commercial banks that are members of the federal reserve system, three representing the public and elected by member banks and three representing the public who are appointed by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington D.C.

Also, Katherine Winograd, president of Central New Mexico Community College, was appointed to a three-year term on the board of the Denver branch office of the Kansas City Fed.mb01_jd_30mar_7ethics
