APD: Officers arrest man who fled traffic stop in NE ABQ

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — After a search of the neighborhood officers arrested a man who fled from a traffic stop near Indian School and Pennsylvania NE Thursday afternoon, according to a spokesman for the Albuquerque Police Department.

“The suspect has been identified as Joseph Terrell, 32,” said officer Daren DeAguero. “Joseph had outstanding felony warrants that included kidnapping.”

During the search children attending after school activities at the nearby Ines Elementary school were escorted off campus to their parents, DeAguero said.
