Early in-person voting begins on May 10 at the Bernalillo County Clerk’s office in Downtown Albuquerque and on May 21 at other locations around the city for New Mexico’s June 7 primary elections. The Journal plans to publish its endorsements for contested offices soon after ballots can be cast city wide.
Candidates in contested races who would like to meet with members of the editorial board before endorsements are published should contact editorial page editor Dan Herrera at 823-3810 or by sending an email with contact phone numbers to dherrera@abqjournal.com. Interviews can be scheduled Mondays through Thursdays at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
