Take a quick day trip west to Acoma Pueblo’s Sky City Casino Hotel this month for a star-spangled good time.
It all starts Saturday, July 2, and Sunday, July 3, with Sky City’s “Shootin’ Stars” promotion. There will be $12,100 total cash drawings. Three players will be selected every half-hour from 7 to 9 p.m. to win between $150 and $1,000 cash. Guests will receive an entry for every 20 points accrued while playing their preferred Sky City game.
Sky City will continue the Independence Day celebration by giving away more than $5,000 cash during “Star Spangled Cash” drawings on Monday, July 4. Drawings will be held each half-hour between 7 and 8 p.m. with one $1,000 cash winner. Stick around for bigger bucks between 10 and 10:30 p.m., when one $1,200 cash winner will be chosen.
When the sun goes down Monday, look toward the sky above Sky City for “Skyworks 2016.” The fireworks display is free and open to all ages.
Bingo players, rejoice. Sky City Bingo is now open seven days a week. To celebrate, Sky City Bingo will hold “Welcome Back Wednesdays Tee-Shirt Frenzy.” The first 100 bingo players who buy a Planet Bingo PhD card worth $50 or more using their Players Club card will receive a free Sky City Bingo logo shirt.
On July 11 and 18, be part of “Bingo’s Cash Explosion” for $3,000 total cash drawings. All you have to do is buy a Planet Bingo PhD card using your Player’s Club card to be eligible to win up to $500 cash.

The event will feature barbecue, live music, inflatable slides, bounce houses and obstacle courses. When the sun goes down, eventgoers will be treated to a display of more than 10,000 fireworks. The Star Spangled Celebration is free to attend.
