Isleta Golf Club No. 1, Mesa Nine
Par 4, 402 (gold tees) to 500 (black tees) yards
This opener on the Mesa layout is the longest of Isleta’s 54 holes. Your tee shot should be just short of the fairway bunker, and avoid going left on at all costs. If you find the fairway left of the bunker, your second shot will most likely be from an uneven lie. But if you go too far right, your ball might find the practice range, which is out of bounds. The green is tilted from back to front and has a large collection area on the left, which should be avoided. Making par on this hole is a great score.
