Two people were taken to a local hospital following the crash that occurred just before 8 p.m.. One of them told police that there had been another person in the vehicle, but police did not find a third person after a search.
A blood technician has been sent to the hospital to draw their blood to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the crash and to obtain their blood alcohol concentrations, according to Albuquerque police spokesman Officer Rob Gibbs.
Albuquerque police responded to a rollover crash at Interstate 40 westbound and the Tramway exit just before 8 p.m.
A caller said a woman was trapped inside the vehicle.
When officers arrived on scene, they found two people inside the vehicle, according to Albuquerque police spokesman Rob Gibbs. One of them was unconscious.
Police were told that there had been a third person in the vehicle, but that person has not been found. Open Space officers are responding to the scene to try to find the third person who was possibly thrown from the vehicle, Gibbs said in an e-mail.
