Inn of the Mountain Gods marks season’s end with concerts, outdoor events

Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalero is chock-full of events this September on and off the casino floor.

Tonight, many lucky ticket holders will experience the sounds of Foreigner, which will perform many of the hits that skyrocketed the hard rock band to stardom. This is a sold-out show.

Later in the month, country fans can enjoy a great show with Chase Rice and special guest David Nail on Sept. 29. Rice first gained fame as a reality TV star and NASCAR pit-crew champion.

He entered the country scene in 2014 when his debut album, “Ignite the Night,” debuted at No. 1. The album features the hit single “Ready Set Roll.” Nail began his career in 2002. He got his first taste of success with the release of his song “Let it Rain” in 2011 and again in 2013 with his song “Whatever She’s Got.” Tickets begin at $30.

If the outdoors are more your thing, Inn of the Mountain Gods has you covered on Saturday, Sept. 3, and Sunday, Sept. 4.

Head over to the Fireball Whisky Outdoor BBQ from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Inn of the Mountain Gods’ sister location, Casino Apache Travel Center. The event will showcase new Fireball-inspired entrees.

Dig into some delicious barbecue and wash it down with draft beers or Fireball shots. Guests can choose from the Fireball barbecue plate for $15.99 or the Fireball barbecue burger for $10.99. There will be a DJ keeping the party mood going, and some lucky winners will get some cool prizes during several giveaways.
