ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A pilot and three passengers walked away unharmed from a crash landing Thursday night in Taos County.
The small Piper Aircraft crash landed on U.S. Highway 64 west. A State Police spokesman said the crash landing was due to an unknown malfunction with the plane.
“It’s unknown at this point what exactly occurred,” said Eric Garcia, New Mexico State Police spokesman.
The plane went down around 8:15 p.m. on Hwy. 64, which is adjacent to Taos Regional Airport.
