Fall drive: Inn of Mountain Gods giving away Jeep Patriot

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Take a day trip to fun November promotions and exciting entertainment at Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino in Mescalero.

This month, Inn of the Mountain Gods is giving away a 2016 Jeep Patriot to a lucky Apache Spirit Club member. Members who stop by Inn of the Mountain Gods or its sister location, Casino Apache Travel Center, on Sundays, Tuesdays or Thursdays through Nov. 29, have a chance to win the Jeep. Earn an entry into the drawing when you accrue 50 points while playing your favorite game using your Apache Spirit Club card. The drawing will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 at Inn of the Mountain Gods.

Earn some extra cash for the holidays during the “$25,000 Black Friday Cash for Christmas” event on Nov. 25 at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Every half-hour, from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., five players will be selected to enter the cash cube to grab as much money they can. Apache Spirit Club members who earn 10 points and swipe their club card between 4:30 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. will gain one entry into the drawings.

“Free the Turkey” at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache from 1 to 6:50 p.m. on Sundays through Nov. 27. Every Sunday, three Apache Spirit Club members who earn 20 points will be chosen for a drawing for a chance to compete for prizes up to $1,500. Three winners will be selected from the drawing and given a clear locked box with a stuffed turkey inside. Each winner will be given 30 keys and have 30 seconds to find the right key to unlock the box. If one or more players cannot open their box, they will get $250 cash.

On Tuesdays, be part of “Fall Fest Klinko.” Apache Spirit Club members who earn 20 points from 1 to 7:50 p.m. on Tuesdays this month will have a chance to win up to $500 cash at Casino Apache. To be eligible, club members must earn 20 points and then swipe their Apache Spirit Club cards at any kiosk to print their entry tickets for the 8 p.m. cash drawing. On Fridays at Casino Apache, through Nov. 25, it’s “Friday Night Kickoff.” Hot seat drawings will be held as part of the promotion for Apache Spirit Club members who have a chance to win their share of more than $25,000 in cash. Accrue 20 points between 4:30 and 10 p.m. to be part of the drawings that will be held every half-hour. There will be $50, $75, $100, $150 and $200 cash prizes up for grabs.

Help the less fortunate with a donation of five cans of nonperishable foods and receive five times the points the entire day you play during “Coins for Cans” at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache. The promotion in the September raised a total of 1,671 pounds of nonperishable food for local schools. This promotion is open to Apache Spirit Club members and runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday through Nov. 29. Increase your points by donating two peanut butter items along with five cans to earn seven times the points.

Thursdays are for locals this month. Local residents who are Apache Spirit Club members have a chance to win up to $550 every Thursday through Nov. 24, during the “Loco 4 Locals” promotion at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Players who reach 10 points between 1 and 7:50 p.m. are entered in the 8 p.m. drawing where they will spin the “Fall Fortunes” slot machine to see how much they have won.

Be entertained this month with an evening of country and a night of rock ‘n’ roll at Inn of the Mountain Gods.

John Anderson will take the stage with Ben and Noel Haggard & The Strangers on Nov. 11. Anderson is best-known for his country hits “Seminole Wind” and “Straight Tequila Night.” He will be joined by Ben and Noel Haggard, who are sons of the late Merle Haggard, along with Merle’s band, The Strangers. The brothers are continuing their father’s legacy by singing his songs and playing the dates Merle had scheduled before his death in April. Tickets start at $25.
