Isotopes To Hold National Anthem Tryouts

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Isotopes will be conducting their annual National Anthem auditions from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 10, on the third floor Club Level Lounge at Isotopes Park, the ball club said in a news release.

Because of the overwhelming number of people expected to try out to sing the anthem at Isotopes games and because of time constraints, all those who wish to audition must fill out a pre-registration form found on, the release said.

Completed pre-registration forms may be emailed, faxed, mailed or dropped off in person at the Isotopes administrative office at Isotopes Park, according to the release.

The first 50 people who pre-register will be contacted and invited to audition at Isotopes Park on March 10, where check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., with auditions beginning promptly at 9 a.m., the release said. The earlier performers check in, the sooner they will be able to audition.

Those who are selected will be notified by April 1 whether they will get to sing the National Anthem at an Isotopes game during the 2012 season.
