Two new Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants are opening in the next month in Albuquerque and bringing some employment opportunities.
Chipotle is opening a restaurant near the University of New Mexico on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 2608 Central Ave. SE, a former Denny’s location and on the West Side on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 3600 Coors Blvd. SW. A spokeswoman said the company is still looking to fill 25 crew positions at the Coors location. Those interested in applying can visit careers. chipotle.com.
Together with four other outlets already doing business, the new stores bring to six the total number of eateries the fast-casual burrito chain operates in the metro area.
