ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Ethics in Business Awards will fete this year’s winners April 18 at annual Ethics in Business dinner and awards gala at Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town.

Gold sponsors for the celebration dinner are the Albuquerque Journal, Daniels Fund, New Mexico Bank & Trust, PNM Resources, Presbyterian Healthcare Services, Samaritan Counseling Center and the UNM Anderson School of Management.
The recipients of the Rust Award for Excellence in Ethical Business Practice by a For-Profit Business are Betty’s Bath and Day Spa and Ortega’s Appliance Service Today, both in Albuquerque, and the recipient of the Daniels Award for Excellence in Ethical Business Practice by a For-Profit Business is First American Bank of Artesia, Samaritan said in a news release.
The Hopkins Award for Excellence in Ethical Practice by a Nonprofit Organization is Animal Humane/New Mexico and the recipient of the PNM/Ackerman Award for Individual Excellence in Ethical Business Practice is pediatric physician Javier Aceves.
Samaritan Counseling partners with the UNM Anderson School of Management for the annual selection and recognition of highly ethical businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals.
