“Rust in Peace” tells the story of an abandoned robot who awakes alone in a junkyard. He travels home to his creator’s ranch to learn if the love he feels is returned.
The production will employ approximately 25 New Mexico crew members, the film office stated.
“We’re thrilled to bring our production to New Mexico, a beautiful state of cinema and are delighted to make our special story come to life with the beautiful landscape of the land of enchantment as a backdrop,” Amouyal and Zerat said.
