ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police on Monday identified the man shot and killed on west Central earlier this month, and also announced that they are searching for two possible witnesses in his killing.

Police made the announcement on their social media pages.

They say Ricardo Ruiz, 32, was shot and killed at Bob’s Burgers near Atrisco and Central on March 12. Detectives are investigating, and nobody has been arrested.

Officers are hoping to identify and interview two men who they believe are witnesses. They released images from surveillance footage of those potential witnesses Monday, and asked anyone with information about the men to call 843-STOP.

Callers can be anonymous, officials said.
