Spring forward with March promotions

The month might be coming to a close, but Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino’s March promotions are still in full swing.

Apache Spirit Club members still have a chance to win $250,000 during the “Lucky Shamlocks Cash Giveaway.” Drawings will be held at 6 tonight at the Inn of the Mountain Gods and at 6 p.m. Saturday at its sister location, Casino Apache. Earn an entry into the drawings with every 50 points accrued playing your favorite games using your Apache Spirit Club card. Five winners will be selected during each drawing to receive free play, and one winner will play for a share of $250,000.

Enjoy the “Topple Tuesdays” promotion finale on Tuesday, March 28. Apache Spirit Club members will get the opportunity to win their share of $5,000. Players must earn 10 points on any slot machine to earn one entry into the 6 p.m. drawing on Tuesday. Five players will be selected during the drawing and given a number to match a corresponding Jenga-style block. The five players will then remove their block without toppling the whole stack to win $200 each. If the stack falls, each player will be awarded $25 in free play.

Apache Spirit Club members ages 55 and older can win their share of $18,000 during the “High 5’s for 55’s Pot of Gold” promotion, which wraps up Wednesday, March 29. “High 5’s for 55’s” members who earn 10 points playing their favorite slots will be entered into the weekly 5 p.m. drawing. They will be able to pull a tile to see how much cash they have won. Other perks for “High 5’s for 55’s” members include earning five times the points on Monday, March 27, as well as half-off dining Monday and Wednesday, March 29.

Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache are celebrating turning the clocks ahead an hour with its “Loco for Locals Spring Forward Slot Tournament” from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 30 at Casino Apache. The top 10 players will have a chance at $250 in free play. The top three will be invited to the final slot tournament at Inn of the Mountain Gods at 6 p.m. Thursday, where they will have a chance at $2,000.

Don’t forget bingo is back at Inn of the Mountain Gods daily. There are three, one-hour bingo sessions available from noon to 1 p.m., 2 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 5 p.m. seven days a week.

Next month is chock-full of entertainment at Inn of the Mountain Gods.

Southern rockers 38 Special perform at 7 p.m. April 7, followed the next day by country stars Jon Pardi and Aaron Watson at 7 p.m. April 8. Later in the month, Australian Christian pop duo For King & Country play at 8 p.m. April 27.

38 Special is best-known for its breakout song “Hold On Loosely,” as well as its other hits “Caught Up in You,” “If I’d Been the One” and “Second Chance.” More recently, it filmed a CMT Crossroads special with country star Trace Adkins, according to an Inn of the Mountain Gods news release. Tickets for the show start at $25.

Jon Pardi is teaming up with Aaron Watson for a boot-stomping good time. Pardi is a singer, songwriter and producer and has been a nominee for an American Country Music Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year. He is known for his songs “Dirt on My Boots,” “Up All Night” and “Head Over Boots.” Watson’s third album, “Shut Up And Dance,” released in 2002, gained him plenty of radio airplay and attention nationwide. Watson’s “The Underdog,” released in 2015, made him the first independent male artist to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart with a self-released and independently distributed and promoted album, according to a news release. Tickets start at $25.

Australia’s For King & Country, made up of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, has received rave reviews from both Christian and mainstream music critics. The duo broke into mainstream popularity with the release of its second album, “Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong.” It spent 17 weeks on the Billboard 200, peaking at No. 13, bolstered by singles “Run Wild” and “Fix My Eyes,” according to the news release. Tickets start at $20.
