Dozens gather at UNM to protest military action in Syria

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Protesters gathered at the University of New Mexico bookstore on Central for an anti-war rally Friday evening.

The protest, organized by the Albuquerque Branch of the Party of Socialism and Liberation, was organized to “demand an immediate end to the United States military’s attacks on Syria and the people of the Middle East, which have resulted in the deaths and suffering of thousands, including many children.”
