There’s a lot of talent in the upcoming independent film, “Long Dumb Road.”
The feature is filming in Albuquerque and Belen this month.
The film stars Tony Revolori, Jason Mantzoukas, Grace Gummer and Taisa Farmiga.
The cast is rounded out with Casey Wilson and Ron Livingston.
It follows the story of two very different men – Mantzoukas and Revolori – who serendipitously meet at a time when both are at a personal crossroads. They embark on an unplanned road trip across the Southwest.
The film explores how differences in class, race, age and life experience divide us, and how they can ultimately bring us together.
According to the New Mexico Film Office, the production will employ 30 New Mexico crew members, 12 New Mexico principal actors and about 60 background talent.
The film is directed by Hannah Fidell, who co-wrote the screenplay with Carson Mell. It is produced by Jaqueline Ingram and Jonathan Duffy and Kelly Williams.
