ESSENTIALISH GEAR: Water bottle pump
With the Yish electric water bottle pump, just drop the tube into your water container, put the pump atop it, push the button, and you have a faucet that is ready to dispense an exact amount of liquid.
You can buy it for less than $26 on Amazon. Dometic makes a pump device that includes the water jug, but it costs about $100 and doesn’t store as easily.
With a water basin, it would be perfect for washing dishes. That setup makes it like a mini-portable sink for the road. Perfect for washing off your face or brushing teeth without spilling water all over yourself. I’ve also used it to wash my hands.
How long the battery will last is still to be determined, but it recharges via USB cable, which came with the pump.
