Who are the 2024 New Mexico State Fair Parade winners?
While there are many things to look forward to when the New Mexico State Fair is in town, many look to the parade as the first event for fair fun. Tens of thousands of people gathered along Central Ave. early morning on Saturday, Sept. 7, eager to see 110 colorful floats drive down the streets of Albuquerque.
A panel of judges evaluate floats and their designs. First, second and third place were awarded in all classes based on originality, use of color, use of music, use of theme and overall appearance. Here are the winners of each float category.
