REDW Unveils Plans for New HQ

CPA firm REDW Business and Financial Resources LLC said Wednesday it will build its new 45,000-square-foot, two-story corporate headquarters at the corner of Jefferson NE and Masthead streets in Journal Center.
"It's a great time to build. We are capitalizing on low interest rates, low construction costs, and the city of Albuquerque's impact fee waiver," Ron Rivera, REDW's Managing Principal, said in a statement. "It's a positive sign that New Mexico businesses can expand even in a recovering economy."
Cost of the project was not disclosed.
Titan Development is building the Southwest contemporary structure that is expected be LEED Silver Certified with photovoltaic panels. It will be big enough to accommodate 150 employees and future expansion, the companies said in a news release.
"Everyone involved in this project, from the architects and the financers to the contractors, are local business owners," Drew Dolan, director of Development at Titan, said in a statement.
Bankers Paul Sowards and Joe Sierra with Century Bank agreed to provide the financing for the project. Additional New Mexico-based companies involved are Dekker/Perich/Sabatini, interior architects, SMPC, general contractor, Reid & Associates, and civil engineers Bohannon Huston Inc.
Titan Development said it expects to break ground in March 2011 with anticipated occupancy by October 2011.
REDW is a 58-year-old certified public accounting and business consulting firm considered among the top10 in the Southwest. It currently has about 135 employees serving a wide range of clients, including publicly and privately held businesses, tribes and tribal enterprises, local and state government agencies, nonprofits, financial institutions and individuals.
