C Bar Ranch Rd (Silver City)

The C Bar Ranch spans approximately 8,000 acres across deeded land and New Mexico State leases, offering buyers the opportunity to own the most expensive ranch in New Mexico at $7,700,000. This ranch justifies its price with meticulous management, productivity for agriculture and wildlife, rich history and stunning views. The property features mountainous terrain with sandstone bluffs, productive canyons, rolling hills and expansive grasslands.

The C Bar Ranch received a $200,000 grant from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which was used to implement ground-nesting bird habitat, leading to a thriving quail population. The ranch boasts 11 wells, eight storage tanks and approximately 30,000 feet of water pipeline to ensure excellent water distribution. It is fenced and cross-fenced, having been used for both cattle grazing and wildlife habitat management.

Located in Game Management Unit 23 in Grant County, the ranch is about 10 miles from the Hidalgo County line.
