Known as The Desert Flower — Ahkon Povi in the Tewa language — this home draws inspiration from native Indian dwellings, Pueblo Bonito and Chaco Canyon.

The structure is comprised of two houses on 11 acres of land.

The houses mimic nature with flowing lines throughout. For example, the adobe walls curve instead of meeting at sharp corners. Nature is brought inside with rock-like tiling, wooden doors, vigas on the ceiling and an abundance of natural light and greenery. The kitchen follows the natural-world theme, with wooden cabinets and polished tree trunks and branches supporting the countetop ends.

Stay warm on chilly evenings with one of the eight kiva wood-burning fireplaces. Additionally, the space is heated by active solar, propane and radiant flooring.

Savor the refreshment of soaking in a Japanese cedar hot tub, outdoor heated pool, steam room and separate sauna.

A landscaped courtyard invites residents from both houses to dine in the fresh air under a gazebo made of roughly hewn logs.

There is space for up to four horses on the property.
