Urban Hotdog Co. opens new Nob Hill location

Published Modified

After months of anticipation, West Side favorite Urban Hotdog Co. opened a new Nob Hill location in late August.

Urban Hotdog is an Albuquerque original, with a menu that features deluxe hot dogs to please every palate. The menu includes classics like a Chicago dog with mustard, tomato, a pickle spear and celery salt, New Mexico flavors like the relleno dog with chile con queso and green chile, and Asian-inspired dogs like the bahn mi with pickled carrot and daikon. The menu also features sliders, brats, deluxe fries, greens, cocktails and a wide selection of craft beers.

Urban Hotdog celebrated 11 years in business last month.

“Having grown up in Albuquerque, it has always been a dream of mine to have a restaurant in Nob Hill and I’ve always loved the idea of a craft cocktail paired with a good hot dog,” said owner Matthew Bernabe. “It is exciting to join the neighborhood during what truly feels like a renaissance for the area.”

Bernabe spent a year and a half remodeling the Nob Hill location.

The new Urban Hotdog is at 3507 Central NE.
