Two New Mexico restaurants are featured in Yelp's latest top 100 best barbecue places in the United States.
The online review platform featured the spots based on the total volume of ratings of reviews mentioning barbecue.
The list starts with barbecue restaurants in Arkansas, Texas, Arizona and Nevada. The two restaurants in New Mexico that made the list are Mad Jack's Mountaintop Barbecue in Cloudcroft, coming in at 22nd, and Watson's BBQ in Tucumcari, placing 24th.
Mad Jack's Mountaintop Barbecue is located at 105 James Canyon, Cloudcroft and is open 11 a.m. till sold out Thursday-Sunday.
Watson's BBQ is located at 502 S Lake, Tucumcari and is open 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
