Bernalillo County invites public to attend meeting on Bridge Boulevard Project

Bernalillo County will host a second public meeting for phase three of the Bridge Boulevard Project from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the South Valley Multipurpose Senior Center, located at 2008 Larrazolo SW.
Phase three, also known as Bridging Los Vecinos, will focus on Bridge SW between Lura Place and Young Avenue.
The project aims to find ways to improve safety and mobility in the area, including the Five Point Intersection, a news release said.
"The project team will discuss what prompted the project and attendees will have an opportunity to review the new refined alternatives," the release said.
Currently in the study phase, this project is scheduled to have a complete design this year and construction is anticipated to begin in 2026.
