NM Girls Scouts announces 3 new cookie flavors: When will they be available to purchase?

Prepare your sweet tooth, the Girl Scouts of New Mexico are hitting the streets with their drool-worthy cookies, this year including three brand-new flavors.

New flavors are:

Toast-Yay! — This French-toast flavored cookie is dipped in icing and shaped like a slice of toast.

Lemonades — This shortbread cookie is savory and refreshing, topped with tangy lemon-flavored icing.

Caramel Chocolate Chip — This gluten-free cookie is composed of caramel, semi-sweet chocolate chips and a hint of sea salt.

The classic Thin Mints, Trefoils and Adventurefuls will still be offered, as well as other classics, though some will have new names.

"Caramel DeLites, Peanut Butter Patties, and Peanut Butter Sandwich cookies are new monikers to New Mexico, but they are the same cookies you’ve known and loved as Samoas, Tagalongs, and Do-si-dos,” said Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails Chief Executive Officer Rebecca Latham in a statement.

Cookies will go on sale Friday Jan. 26 for friends and family, and Feb. 16 for the general public.

A release said 100% of proceeds from cookie sales stay local to the Girl Scouts in central and northern New Mexico.
