Rex Thompson has been bringing burgers to the New Mexico State Fair every year since he was 12 and working with his father. He now runs the burger stand and has a brick-and-mortar shop at 5555 Montgomery NE.
This year is his 52nd year at the fair, Thompson has been at every fair except once in the late 70s while he was attending college in Iowa.
