Residents of Valencia County can visit the New Mexico Museum of Natural History for free in February as part of the museum foundation's partnership with Meta.

Meta has donated $300,000 to support attendance for Valencia County residences, as well as five years of educational classroom visits for every fifth grade class in the county, as well as science programs and planetarium shows, according to a news release.

Throughout the month of February, Valencia County residents can visit the museum and planetarium free of charge with a valid ID.

The release said group attendance is also covered under the program. Call 505-841-2800 for information.

"This partnership is designed to not only enhance the museum’s programming," the release said. "But also to make it more accessible for New Mexico residents outside of Bernalillo County."
