Signs warn visitors on the Cochiti Highway.
Cochiti Highway, accessed via New Mexico 22, is blocked at Pueblo de Cochiti land a few miles past the golf course. There’s no parking, hiking or access beyond the sign that is past the golf course and the old Forest Service Road that heads toward the former apple orchard and Dome Wilderness. The land and road to the orchard were reacquired by the pueblo after severe flooding, and both roads were closed to public access.
