Albuquerque Journal Terms of Service

Albuquerque Journal subscriptions include unlimited access to our digital replica edition (“eJournal”), mobile apps, and our website abqjournal.com. These Terms of Service govern all subscriptions and related services. By subscribing, you agree to the terms outlined.

Subscription Terms and Automatic Renewal

  • All subscriptions to the Albuquerque Journal—including print, digital, or bundled formats—automatically renew at the end of each term at the then-current rate, unless you contact us to cancel at least 7 days prior to your renewal date.
  • You will not receive a refund, we do not provide credit, refunds, or prorated billing for subscriptions that are cancelled mid-term. In such a circumstance, you will continue to have access to abqjournal.com and the eJournal until the end of your payment term.
  • Payments are non-refundable. Payments, credits, debits, and any changes in pricing may affect your subscription's expiration date.
  • Rate change notices are sent 30 days before they take effect.
  • Your account will not be credited for vacation/stop interruptions. Refunds will not be provided for any subscriptions.

Promotional and Introductory Offers

  • Promotional offers are valid for new subscribers only. Orders may be rejected or prorated if introductory pricing does not apply. If you have an outstanding balance, it may be deducted before service begins.
  • Promotional items included in your subscription must be picked up in person at the Albuquerque Publishing Company office:7777 Jefferson St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Grace Period and Past Due Payments

  • If you do not notify us of your intent to cancel prior to renewal, your account may briefly enter a “grace period” status. During this time, your subscription will continue at the renewal rate as stated in your notice.

Premium Editions

  • All daily (Sunday–Saturday), weekend (Friday–Sunday), and Sunday-only print home delivery subscriptions include delivery on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and up to eight premium editions published throughout the year.
  • These premium issues provide additional content and value. You will be charged an extra fee per premium issue, which may result in a shortened subscription term to account for their value.
  • If you prefer not to receive premium issues, you may opt out by contacting Customer Service at 505-823-4400 before the issue is published. If no premium issues are delivered to you, your subscription will not be shortened.

Unclaimed Property

  • Terminated accounts with a remaining credit balance that are inactive for three years will be submitted to the State of New Mexico Unclaimed Property Division, minus a $25 dormancy fee, in accordance with state law.

Contact and Communication

  • By subscribing, you agree to receive communications from the Albuquerque Journal, including autodialed or prerecorded calls, text messages, or emails.
  • Contacting us with your up-to-date contact information is your responsibility and necessary to maintain account communication.
