Access to the Gilman Tunnels from Forest Road 376 to close Dec. 1 and Dec. 2
Access to the Gilman Tunnels from Forest Road 376 will be closed to motorized and nonmotorized traffic on Monday, Dec. 1, and Tuesday, Dec. 2, while rock stabilization work is completed.
The U.S. Forest Service asks the public to avoid the area during the closure period.
The work involves eliminating the immediate rock fall danger and stabilizing the rock cliffs surrounding the tunnels.
