Eaves Movie Ranch to host Wild West Fest and raise money for NM film community
The Wild West Fest will be held at Eaves Movie Ranch on Saturday, Sept. 30. The event will give proceeds to the New Mexico film industry.
It’s time for the Wild West Fest.
The Mine Shaft Tavern and Eaves Movie Ranch are collaborating to host the one-day festival, which will feature music, food and film-related activities. The proceeds will benefit the New Mexico film community.
The event takes place from noon-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Eaves Movie Ranch, 75 Rancho Alegre Road, Santa Fe,. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at holdmyticket.com.
Friends of the 769, is sponsoring the event.
According to Lori Lindsay, an organizer of the event, there will be over a dozen bands performing.
“Western attire is encouraged,” Lindsay says. “This is a multi-genre music event with a Western theme. The Mine Shaft Tavern will provide full bars, and there will be multiple food options including barbeque, Mine Shaft Tavern famous Mad Chile Burgers, tacos and so much more. We hope to raise funds for union members with door charge and the various fundraising techniques of art auction, selling raffle tickets and other fun ideas.”
There will be a silent art auction as well as raffle tickets.
Bands slated to perform are: Todd and the Fox, Roses Pawn Shop, Felix Y Los Gatos, Musnttouchit, Gary Farmer and his band, Lori K. Ottino and Friends, Levi Platero, Nacha Mendez and her band, Connie Long with Fast Patsy, Johnny Lloyd, Jhett Black, Justin Nuñez and more.
