Mariachi Spectacular is back for its 31st anniversary show.
The beloved event returns to Sandia Resort & Casino at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 13. It is the final concert to Mariachi Spectacular de Albuquerque which is a conference that focuses on keeping the art form alive.
The 2024 iteration of Mariachi Spectacular will feature Mariachi Ángeles de Pepe Martinez Jr., Mariachi Mariposas, El Mariachi Estrella de México.
There will be special performances by Mateo Lopez, Los Hermanos Escamilla and Ballet Folklorico Paso Del Norte.
Lopez burst onto the mariachi music scene at the age of four and is recognized as the world’s youngest mariachi.
Five years later, he has performed internationally.
Mariachi Mariposas is an all-female mariachi band, meanwhile, El Mariachi Estrella de México hails from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Mariachi Ángeles, led by the talented Pepe Martínez Jr., has revitalized the Mariachi tradition in Los Angeles since its establishment in 2018.

Prices range from $49 to $119.
