Valentine portal: Meow Wolf's 'Adulti-Verse: Be Mine' lets adults enjoy creative, kid-free evening
If you’re age 21 or older and looking for a creative, kid-free evening, Meow Wolf has the answer.
“Adulti-Verse” transforms the art installation into an exclusive event for adults, and February’s addition, themed “Be Mine,” invites attendees to craft Valentine’s cards and try speed dating amid the “House of Eternal Return.”
The event, held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, offers a more laid-back atmosphere compared to daytime hours.
“Without children around, adults are free to relax and really enjoy themselves in the space,” said Kate Daley, spokesperson for Meow Wolf.
The absence of children allows guests to more freely explore the exhibit’s interactive storyline and enjoy it at their own pace.
Float bar will serve “delightfully decadent drinks,” according to the Meow Wolf website.
“Float bar serves drinks in eco-friendly to-go cups, so guests are able to enjoy while going through the house or engaging in activities throughout ‘Adulti-Verse,’” Daley noted.
For those hoping to spark a romantic connection, “Speed Dating in Rainbow Rainbow” runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Participants must sign up by 6:30 p.m. to join. The event promises to cross “dimensions of conversation” and give attendees a chance to meet fellow explorers.
Meanwhile, craft enthusiasts can flex their artistic side with Valentine’s card-making in the venue. Daley describes it as a chance to “craft out-of-this-world cards for your interdimensional crush, future self or the mysterious void that whispers sweet nothings.”
If attending, make sure to bring your ID, which will be checked at the door. “Adulti-Verse” takes place monthly with different themes, so if you miss February’s edition, there are plenty more opportunities to experience this adults-only event in the future.
