Love and zombies

Valentine's Day weekend events have something for everyone — no matter your relationship status

Published

It is the time of the year for red and pink, hearts and gooey-eyed love to take over. As Valentine's Day approaches, New Mexico is filled with events celebrating the holiday.

There are plenty of activities going on during Valentine’s weekend — a barbershop quartet, heart-racing 5Ks and even a haunted house of amor.

Want to dance until the strike of midnight? Check out the Romance Rave at Meow Wolf.

Spend the night at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture’s Late-Night, Date Night event.

Looking for a unique flower experience? Pick a Posy at Jo’s Farms.

“Instead of just handing somebody a bouquet of flowers, create the experience of bringing your flower-obsessed friend,” Lisa Fontanarosa, owner of Jo's Farms, said, “and it could be a girls' day or bring your sweetheart and/or children, because this is a fun event.”

Whether you are single, attached or in a situationship, there is a lot to do around New Mexico for the season of love.
