Rio Grande Valley State Park Albuquerque
The Rio Grande flows directly through Albuquerque, splitting the city into east and west.
The bosque and the Rio Grande Valley State Park provide year-round hiking, biking and boating along its route. It extends from the Alameda Bridge in the North to the Isleta Pueblo in the south. It was established in 1983 and is managed by the Open Space Division and the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District.
There are numerous parking areas and entry points to access the river and its trail system.
It is day use only.
The Rio Grande Nature Center State Park on Candeleria Road provides web cams where you can see the river from your computer.
