Six people were displaced after two fires occurred hours apart at a Northeast Albuquerque apartment complex on Saturday.

At about 12:08 p.m., Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a call of a structure fire at the Chelsea Village Apartments in the 7100 block of Natalie, near Montgomery.

When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke coming from a second floor apartment. The fire was put under control within five minutes. Two people, who were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and minor burns, were displaced,  according to an AFR social media post.

Almost 10 hours later, at about 10:09 p.m., firefighters responded to a call of a fire at the same address.

When firefighters arrived, they saw light smoke coming from the second floor. The fire was brought under control in five minutes. No injuries reported, but four people were displaced. AFR is working with apartment management and the Red Cross to assist the residents, the post states.

"The original cause of this incident was accidental, and this incident was determined to be a rekindle of the original event," according to AFR. "No further information is currently available."
