Cartoons came to life in Albuquerque last weekend.

The city’s first Toon Fusion was held Saturday and Sunday at Expo New Mexico. Attendees dressed up as their favorite characters and examined replica weapons from popular cartoons.

Dozens of voice actors from popular shows were on hand for the animation expo. For example, characters from the “Dragon Ball Z” universe hosted a panel to discuss behind-the-scenes stories and iconic moments, told through the voices of the shows heroes and villains.

And, of course, there was plenty of time for gaming.
