Friday alert for drivers: New traffic patterns to start on Bridge SW

Starting Friday, drivers can expect a new traffic pattern near Isleta SW due to Bridge Boulevard Phase 2 reconstruction.
New traffic patterns are as follows:
Westbound Bridge
- will have a through traffic lane and a dedicated southbound turn lane onto Isleta.
Eastbound Bridge
- will have a through traffic lane and a dedicated southbound turn lane onto Isleta.
Northbound Isleta
- will now have a dedicated left turn lane and a dedicated right turn lane onto Bridge.
La Vega
- , beginning Monday, will be closed for about four weeks at Bridge to allow underground utilities to be installed across the intersection. La Vega traffic will be routed south to Hardy, then to Isleta.

At Hardy and La Vega
- , rehab work is being performed by the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority. Work is expected to be completed Monday.
Local businesses will be open and accessible via Hardy off Isleta.
