The Federal Aviation Administration said Thursday that all flights at the Albuquerque International Sunport had been grounded.
A fire alarm forced the evacuation of air traffic controllers from the Albuquerque Air Route Traffic Control Center on Louisiana, though no fire was detected, according to a FAA social media post. The ground stop was first reported on the Sunport's social media at 1:30 p.m., and seven minutes later the FAA announced that air traffic controllers had returned to the building and planes could once again take to the skies.
It's unclear if the short-lived ground stop caused any significant delays to flights.
