Interstate 40 has reopened between Eubank and Juan Tabo NE after a semi tractor trailer struck a power line Tuesday morning.

Danielle Silva, an Albuquerque police spokeswoman, said all lanes have reopened, and asked drivers to be patient as the traffic clears.

She did not give any further details.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation reported traffic was being diverted westbound at Eubank and eastbound at Juan Tabo NE until the lanes were reopened shortly before 4 p.m.

Traffic updates can be found on the New Mexico Department of Transportation's website.
