In Albuquerque theaters now: Check out these summer special events
Going to the movies is a great way to spend a few hours. But if you're not in the mood for a summer blockbuster, these special theater events around town might have what you're looking for.
Historic Lobo Theater hosts free Three Day Movie Bonanza and Pajama Brunch and a Movie
The Lobo Theater will host a free movie bonanza this weekend for its customer appreciation week. "The Princess Bride" will kick off the event Thursday; Friday's movie will be "Grease"; and Saturday's free film is the "Rocky Horror Picture Show."
LOCATION: 3013 Central Ave. NE
TIME AND DATE: The doors open at 7 p.m. and movies start at 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday
COST: Free, but registration is required and can be done online at loboabq.com.
Every Sunday, the theater hosts a different movie and brunch, accompanied by a full bar.
The brunch buffet will have various stations ranging from omelettes to pancakes.

Discounted tickets for kids at Cinemark
Our media partners at KOAT7 have reported that Century Rio 24 will offer discounted tickets for parents and children for a different movie every Wednesday.
