Man fatally shot in Southeast Albuquerque

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a man in Southeast Albuquerque on Monday.
At about noon, officers responded to a call of a shooting near Florida and Acoma SE.
When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds, APD spokesperson Franchesca Perdue said in a news release. He was taken to a local hospital where he died, she said.
“This is an active investigation and more details will be released when available,” Perdue said.
