It's Official: Tuition Going Up

Tuition at the University of New Mexico and Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute will increase.
UNM regents on Tuesday approved a 6.1 percent increase in tuition that will raise the cost for a full-time New Mexico undergraduate to $4,360 a year for the 2006-07 academic year.
Also Tuesday, Albuquerque TVI board members unanimously approved a 3 percent increase. Students who live within the TVI district will pay $41.40 per credit hour. The maximum charge will be $496.80. Out-of-district students will now pay $49.90 per credit hour or $589.80 for a full-time load.
