One dead after house party shooting in SW ABQ
Suspect is not in custody, officials say
One person is dead after being shot at during a house party in Southwest Albuquerque on Sunday.
No one is in custody in connection with the shooting, according to Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Deanna Aragon.
Deputies responded around 2:45 a.m. Sunday to the area of Blake Road and Coors Boulevard after receiving a call that shots had been fired.
When deputies arrived, “they made contact with numerous individuals at the scene and located victims suffering from gunshot wounds,” BCSO spokesperson Jayme Gonzales said in a Sunday news release.
Five people, including one juvenile, were transported to the hospital. The sheriff’s office hasn’t identified the person who died, and the other four are in unknown conditions.
