Police looking for male suspect in SE Albuquerque homicide
Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers is looking for a man wanted for an August homicide in the area of Valencia and Anderson in Southeast Albuquerque.
Crime Stoppers coordinator Alicia Hernandez said Houston Coate, 33, is known to “frequent the area,” is believed to be unhoused and is “likely armed.”
According to court records, Coate is charged with an open count of murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shooting at a dwelling or occupied building and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
A criminal complaint for the case has been sealed, court records state.
