New Mexico State announced its 2025 conference schedule Thursday, featuring three midweek games and a matchup against one of Conference USA’s newest teams.

Led by second-year head coach Tony Sanchez, the Aggies (3-9 in 2024) are scheduled to host two of its midweek matchups at home, including a game against CUSA newcomer Missouri State. The Bears join FCS Bryant, Tennessee and Kennesaw State as teams NMSU will be playing for the first time this season.

Broadcast and game times have not been announced yet.

NMSU opens its season with home games against Bryant (Aug. 30) and Tulsa (Sept. 6) before traveling to Louisiana Tech (Sept. 13) for its conference opener. After their first bye week of the season, the Aggies resume play against rival New Mexico (Sept. 27) at University Stadium in Albuquerque.

NMSU then transitions to its midweek schedule and five days later, host Sam Houston State (Thursday, Oct. 2). Following their second bye, the Aggies will travel to Liberty (Tuesday, Oct. 14) for the sixth-time since 2018 before wrapping up their midweek slate with a home game against Missouri State (Wednesday, Oct. 22).

NMSU resumes its weekend schedule with a road game at Western Kentucky (Nov. 1) and a home matchup against Kennesaw State (Nov. 8). The Aggies are scheduled for their lone Power Four game of the season at Tennessee (Nov. 15) before closing the season with a road game at rival UTEP (Nov. 22) and a home finale against Middle Tennessee State (Nov. 29).

SPRING GAME: NMSU announced plans this week to host its spring game at Artesia’s Bulldog Bowl, one of the state’s most iconic high school football stadiums.

Kickoff is scheduled for 10 a.m. on April 5.

The Bulldog Bowl is 200 miles from Aggie Memorial Stadium in Las Cruces, the usual site of NMSU’s spring game.

NMSU starts its five-week spring practice on March 3.
